What To Expect

Everyone Is Welcome

No one will be turned away from assembling with us because of the way you look, the way you dress, or the lifestyle decisions you have made.

The church was never meant to be a museum for perfect people. It is a hospital for sick people (Luke 5:31,32). Each member and visitor we have is flawed and imperfect (Romans 3:23). We will not pretend differently.

We expect you to come as you are. Just don't be surprised if God changes your life.

Worship

Each Sunday, we follow the example of the first Christians by worshiping together (Hebrews 10:25). We partake of the Lord's Supper to remember Jesus's death (1 Corinthians 11:17-34), sing praises to God in a congregational vocal-only manner (Colossians 3:16), pray together (1 Timothy 2:1-2), and study from God's word (1 Corinthians 4:17).

You are not obligated to participate but we would be glad if you did. Our assemblies are not complicated but if you aren't sure what we are doing or why, just ask.

Giving

On your visit, you will notice that our members contribute financially to help Christ's mission thrive and grow. We give from the heart (2 Corinthians 9:7) and as we can (1 Corinthians 16:2). These funds go toward upkeep of our place of worship, employing located ministers, supporting mission efforts, and providing for benevolent needs in our community.

A plate will be passed during our service but you are under no pressure to contribute when you worship with us. This element of devotion is primarily for our members.

Dress

Dress

When you visit us you will see that our members try to dress respectfully. Some wear suits, some wear a tie, and some wear jeans and a polo. We understand that how our hearts are "dressed" in preparation for worship is more important.

We have no dress codes and we don't expect you to dress in any particular way. We just ask that you be respectful of our worship to God.
